Show Fractions

1. Cut the stringer to length [L]
2. On the left and right edges place marks [A] down from the top. Connect marks with a line
3. On line put marks [B] inches from each other
4. On the top edge of the stringer place a mark [C] from the left edge
5. On the top edge now make marks starting at mark [C], [B] inches apart
6. On bottom edge place a mark [D] inches from the left side
7. On bottom edge place a mark [E] inches from the right side
8. Connect all marks
9. Take a piece of decking material and use to draw a line on the bottom of the bottom step.
10. Cut out stringer. Remove area on bottom step drawn in Step 9
11. Attach to deck. Stringer will be attached [F] inches down from the top edge of the deck.
